Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon

Every experienced Duelist knows we have a proud history of Level 8, 3000 ATK Dragons. And Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon is the latest and greatest!

Galaxy-Eyes has the power to grab any monster that it’s fighting, and send both of them to a distant galaxy! At the end of the Battle Phase, both monsters return – but any Xyz Material on the enemy monster is lost, and gives Galaxy-Eyes a 500 ATK power-up!

This ability has many uses. If your opponent activates a Trap when Galaxy-Eyes attacks, it can just escape to a galaxy far away. That’s way too far for your opponent’s Traps to work – so Galaxy-Eyes will safely return to the field.

It also means Galaxy-Eyes cannot be attacked by other monsters. Even if they try, it can just escape to its home galaxy until the battle’s over!

Galaxy-Eyes is easy to Summon. You can Tribute Summon it, you can Special Summon it with card effects, you can even bring it back from the Graveyard.

You can also Special Summon Galaxy-Eyes from your hand, by Tributing 2 monsters with 2000 or more Attack Points. Getting 2 monsters with 2000 ATK is easy with new cards like these:

Normal Monsters to the Rescue!

Meet Rescue Rabbit! He’s a Normal Monster’s BFF.

You can banish Rescue Rabbit to Summon 2 Level 4 or lower Normal Monsters from your Deck. And there are a ton of cool things you can do with those monsters, starting with Galaxy-Eyes itself!

Summon Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon easily, by pairing up Rescue Rabbit with Alexandrite Dragon! Alexandrite Dragon is a Level 4, 2000 ATK, LIGHT Dragon. Just banish Rescue Rabbit to Summon 2 Alexandrite Dragons from your Deck, then – BOOM! – out comes your Galaxy-Eyes. Wasn’t that easy?

Here are some more Rescue Rabbit tricks:

• Get any 2 Normal Monsters with the same Level, and use them as Xyz Material. This lets you turn 1 Rescue Rabbit into any Rank 4 or lower Xyz Monster, as long as it requires just 2 Materials.
• Grab 2 copies of X-Saber Anu Piranha, then plop down all your XX-Saber Faultrolls! Use them to grab some Tuners from the Graveyard, and Synchro Summon an army of X-Sabers to win the Duel!
• Set up easy Fusion Summons by getting Gladiator Beasts, Gem-Knights, or HERO monsters right out of your Deck.

There are also Spell and Trap Cards that can revive Normal Monsters from the Graveyard. You can combine them with these strategies to make Rescue Rabbit into the gift that keeps on giving, and giving, and giving!

Draconian Domination!

“Evol” monsters use rapid-fire Summoning to evolve Reptiles into Dinosaurs, then use those Dinosaurs to Summon powerful Dragon Xyz Monsters! This combo of Reptiles, Dragons, and Dinosaurs can get you a quick win!

Start with Evoltiles. These Reptiles can get your stronger Evol monsters out of your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, and put them onto the field so they can tear up your opponent.

Evolsaurs come next. These ferocious Dinosaurs get special powers when they’re Summoned by an Evoltile. All the Evolsaurs in Photon Shockwave are Level 4, so it’s easy to match up their Levels and bring out your Xyz Monsters: the Dragon-Type Evolzars!

Like the autocrats of old, Evolzars rule like kings over all other Evol monsters, with really strong Attack Points and cool special powers.

Evolzar Laggia can negate any Spell, Trap, or Summon. The only things that Laggia can’t stop are monster effects. But these draconian autocrats work to support each others’ rule, and Evolzar Dolkka covers Laggia’s one weakness, because Dolkka can negate any monster effect!

Between these two despots, you can take any card your opponent plays, and send it off to the gulag!

D-Boyz in da house!

Check out the D-Boyz. These homies love to roll with their posse, and Summon all the other D-Boyz out of your Deck. That gives you 3 Level 1 Fiends on the field, so you can make Number 83: Galaxy Queen, Baby Tiragon, Raviel, Lord of Phantasms (from Legendary Collection 2), or even Obelisk the Tormentor (from Gold Series 4)! Level 1 monsters gotta get some respect, yo.

There are also plenty of cards in Photon Shockwave that work in ANY Deck. Use Shard of Greed to draw more cards, Junk Defender for some emergency defense, and Kagetokage for instant Rank 4 Xyz Summoning.

And don’t miss Thunder End Dragon, the first Rank 8 Xyz Monster. You can Summon it with 2 Level 8 Normal Monsters – or use Resonance Device (from Generation Force) to match up the Levels of your Alexandrite Dragon with either Blue-Eyes White Dragon or Rabidragon!

Once Thunder End Dragon hits the field, it can use its power to destroy all other monsters in play, then tear into your enemy’s Life Points with its 3000 ATK
